Job Description

The nCino Administrator is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance, configuration, and enhancements of the Salesforce platform and use of the nCino application, the bank’s commercial loan origination system. This position is responsible for managing the commercial loan life cycle within the nCino application on the Salesforce platform and ensure the bank is optimizing the customer experience. 


  • Perform administration of the bank’s Salesforce, security settings, as well as managing users
  • Handle application configuration such as, but not limited to, validation & workflow rules, approval processes, form generation templates and credit memo templates
  • Perform proper change management between environments
  • Monitor daily integration jobs
  • Update nCino configuration, such as available collateral types, construction budget & line items, and user interface field additions
  • Perform intermittent application testing of new nCino releases and internal organizational changes
  • Promote changes using tools, such as Change Sets & Apex Data Loader
  • Manage the loan life cycle and nCino applications implemented on the Salesforce platform
  • Identify, diagnose and resolve end user problems in a manner that exemplifies the bank’s high standards of customer service
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously improve data quality, process integrity and productivity
  • Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues
  • Complete bulk imports of data into nCino
  • Create, update and manage nCino Support Cases via the nCino Community.  This is to include researching documentation available in the nCino Community, clearly defining the issue, setting the appropriate priority, providing the appropriate steps to reproduce the issue and actively working with the assigned nCino Support Engineer to resolve the case.
  • Perform batch reassignment of accounts and opportunities based on organizational changes
  • Develop training plans, materials, and documentation for application users, keep materials up-to-date, coordinate new user and ongoing training sessions for new employees
  • Monitor user adoption rates and respond as needed (i.e. additional training sessions, communication, modifications, or other resources) to optimize the application
  • Assist users with report design and management
  • Deliver training and communication to business users
  • Recommend best practices based on interactions with the user community
  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new vendor application extensions or updates to existing applications
  • Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they related to the various applications
  • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the applications to support additional business processes or functions
  • Participate in the integration process with other enterprise systems or other applications as the opportunities arise
  • Assist co-workers with task completion and workload over run as requested


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science or other relevant field required
  • Minimum two (2) years nCino administration experience required
  • Minimum one (1) year SalesForce administration experience highly desired.
  • Minimum one (1) year of financial services cloud experience highly desired.
  • Minimum two (2) years of technical development or systems configuration experience required.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator certification highly desired
  • Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce best practices required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products required
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of commercial lending and financial services preferred
  • Programming and/or software support experience highly desired. 
  • Close attention to detail and an aptitude for assembling data from multiple sources into useful management information; the ability to recognize a disparity in data and mark it for further investigation required
  • Evidence of communication skills sufficient to create and/or interpret operating procedures; ability to communicate professionally with service partners and customers via telephone and e-mail required
  • Potential to understand workflows and system requirements to the degree necessary to write procedures, generate reports, and/or provide first-line support to customers and service partners highly desired
