Job Description

This leader and their team will own the end-to-end digital banking experience for United Bank’s Retail and Business customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for bringing the digital strategy to life for United Bank’s consumers and clients.
  • Serve as the vanguard for the bank's evolving channel experiences to enable customers to manage their finances, plan and budget for the future.
  • Develop proposals for further development of the organization and business process to support the business strategy. 
  • Identify opportunities to align the digital strategy to the enterprise strategy, provide recommendations, business case and execution plans.
  • Contribute, develop and maintain the digital roadmap.
  • Maintain and develop measurement plans in a result driven culture.
  • Ability to collaborate on, lead and deliver complex initiatives across the organization
  • Effectively manage staff and provide guidance and leadership.
  • Responsible for strategic and resource planning with the digital team and partner with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible for agency and vendor management including creative oversight, digital experience and budgets.
     

Qualifications

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.  Master’s Degree highly desired.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of working experience in digital commerce strategies, technology, digital marketing, vendor management and Fintech partnerships is required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years working experience in a Retail/Commercial banking leadership role with financial institutions or equivalent consulting role is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful direct staff management experience is required.
  • Prior working or learned experience in P&L management and/or budgetary planning experience with Finance required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Essential Functions:  

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to travel via air, rail, automobile and/or bus.
