JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting United’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Compliance Program by offering administrative support to the CRA team.

This is a Part-Time position; the schedule is flexible Monday-Friday, 4-6 hours per day. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn and understand which types of activities meet the Bank’s federal Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) regulatory requirements and be able to answer employee questions regarding qualified CRA credit activities.
  • Assist in processing the Bank’s charitable contributions daily by determining whether given donations meet the CRA requirements.
  • Assist in processing the Bank’s volunteer service hours by determining whether the volunteer activity meets the CRA requirements.
  • Ensure documentation for volunteer activities is collected from employees through the Kadince software, as required for the Bank’s bi-annual CRA examination.
  • Collect quarterly survey responses from the Bank’s market presidents regarding CRA-related community complaints.
  • Assist in tracking branch hour changes and ATM location changes, as it relates to the Bank’s CRA obligations.
  • Utilize Kadince software to run reports, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Interest in banking and/or community development industries required.
  • Community development experience highly desired
  • Interest in service and volunteerism strongly preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Products required (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Positive attitude, interest in learning, hardworking, and passion for making a difference required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff internally required.

Essential Functions: 

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
  • Ability to converse and exchange information with all levels of staff within organization.
  • Ability to observe, perceive, identify, and translate data
  • Requires extensive telephone contact, repetitive hand/arm motion and comprehension /interpretation of written/verbal instructions.
