Job Description

The Human Resources Administrator reports directly to the Head of HR/Director of Retail Sales & Services and will be a valuable resource to other senior members of the team by performing a variety of routine and complex clerical and administrative duties and providing a high level of business support.  Special projects requiring analytical and data management skills will be a recurring element of this role.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administrative Support:
  • Support the Head of HR, HR department and the organization in whatever capacity needed, embracing unexpected duties and projects as they arise.
  • Provide general project management assistance, including maintaining and updating action plans and timelines, scheduling meetings, and interfacing with project groups as appropriate.
  • Prepare meeting materials and reports.
  • Assemble presentation materials.
  • Assist in the completion of expense reports.
  • Communicate with management in a professional and pleasant manner; maintain confidentiality and discretion in all client and professional interactions.
  • Responsible for clerical and administrative support such as data entry, email, updating reports, appointment scheduling, travel coordination and sales support.
  • Perform other administrative support duties as needed.

 

HR & Retail Business Support:

  • Develop a strong knowledge of Human Resources and Retail areas, functions, policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Gather data various internal and external business partners.  Example:  hiring trends, turnover, industry reporting, etc., analyze the information and provide an accurate summary to Management.
  • Participate in special projects and identify process improvements.
  • Interact with other divisions within Bank to assess business partnership and effectiveness.
  • Participate with the Human Resources and Retail team in the design and development of communications, procedures, and administration of policies as needed.
  • Act as a coordinator for the weekly/monthly team calls.
     

Qualifications

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree highly desired
  • Minimum of two (2) years of working experience in a professional related position required
  • Prior banking or human resources experience is highly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.  Advanced Excel knowledge is desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in team settings and independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines required
  • Ability to interact in a professional demeanor with all levels of staff, including Executive Management, and customers required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work with efficiency and accuracy is required
