Job Description

The Operations Specialist is responsible handling and responding to all received legal orders, as well as supporting functions for the Legal Process Department.

 

RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Prepare and respond to all legal documents (i.e. subpoenas, levies, garnishments, and child support orders) served on the bank/our customer’s.
  • Serve as liaison to county, state, and federal agencies in order to properly respond to all received legal orders and ensure compliance. 
  • Coordinate and process all Legal Order Adjustments (i.e. releasing orders, orders for payment, and amendments). 
  • Serve as point of contact for both internal and external counsel, to ensure compliance with all legal orders. 
     

Qualifications


SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related Operations or professional banking position required
  • Prior legal order processing experience highly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required
  • Strong interpersonal and service-oriented skills essential required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
  • Ability to converse and exchange information with all levels of staff within department.
  • Ability to observe, perceive, identify, and translate data
