Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Mortgage Warehouse Administrator position is responsible for the review of documentation and processing of requests throughout the life of a warehouse line loan.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

1. Review documentation input in WLS system to verify that the information input into WLS corresponds with the documentation received;

2. Return or decline loans when appropriate;

3. Prepare necessary forms and tickets for the disbursement wires;

4. Review and process incoming document files;

5. Endorse and ship original Notes to investors as requested by originators;

6. Review and process incoming Payoffs/Settlement documentation, and prepare necessary tickets;

7. Prepare and distribute weekly Mortgage Warehouse Line reports.

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Set up new originators in WLS system per loan approval;

2. Set up accesses for new originator personnel in WLS system;

3. Set up new closing agents in WLS system. Includes verifying wire instructions, and receipt and review of current insurance coverages;

4. Be the point of contact, and the subject matter expert on the WLS system for the originators and closing agents

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 4 year college degree preferred;

• General knowledge of residential mortgage lending business highly preferred;

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software;

• Ability to work independently and under pressure;

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

• Strong time management skills, organization and follow-through skills;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task;

• Strong customer-service skills;

In McLean, VA, the expected base pay salary range for this role is ($53,538-85,662), placement within the range will be determined on an individualized basis commensurate with experience and skills and is only one part of the total compensation package. Your base salary may be subject to an annual merit increase based upon performance and, depending on the position, may be eligible for cash bonuses, long-term incentives, commissions, and other United Bank sponsored benefit programs.
